(I also finally got a hold of a decent camera to photograph the things I receive and send out in the mail!)

Whispering Forest
So about a month ago, I went on a swap-bot swap signing up spree due to boredom during winter break and a longing to receive something in the mail. It was kind of ridiculous because I was swamped with tons of swaps to send out when I arrived back at school and when things were getting hectic due to a new semester. But somehow, through all of the hectic days at my new part time job at my school's gazebo, writing essays, studying, and juggling a full time student schedule, I've managed to send all of the swaps I signed out for out! Here's the most recent one I've sent out.

Birthday Card Printables
So a good friend of mine asked me a couple days ago if I could help her decorate a birthday card. She loved the hand made card I gave her along with her Christmas gift a couple weeks ago and wanted my help in making a birthday card that she had to mail out. Today, after all my classes were over and I didn't have to look at textbooks until the long weekend was over, I took some time to wind down and make some images on photoshop for my friend's birthday card.
After fiddling on photoshop with shapes and lasso tools and text tools I managed to create three birthday graphics.

Something good can work
So this if the very first post that I'll put in this blog. It's actually my first time trying to make an actual blog that I can post freely about. I'm really excited to have an archival space where I can document things happening in my life and hopefully find others who share some of my interests. Figuring out the title was always rough, but on my desk were some stamps that had the statement "Send a HELLO" thus the title of this blog was born. For this blog, I want to first start tackling one of the goals on my 2014 bucket list.
That goal was for me to have sent at least 100 things in total through snail mail.
Around the summer of last year I discovered a new favorite hobby, snail mailing. I signed up for an account on swap-bot and send a handful of things to people all over the world. It was such a fun and interesting way to share little trinkets and events happening in my life. Since then, I've sent about fifty things to snail mailers all around the world. I am hoping I can hit 100 by the end of 2014.
There is even a "Penpal Map" that I've made that you can see:
